Jake Farmer is our resident Documentarian but he began his career at Hufft as an estimator in the Fabrication Studio – a true example of how Hufft strives to find and strengthen talents within the collective. Jake has spent his whole life in workshops and on job sites with his father and grandfather’s cabinetry business—gaining knowledge passed down from generation to generation. This hands-on, creative upbringing shaped an appreciation for craft and honed Jake’s perceptive eye for detail. He is truly passionate about merging his extensive millwork experience with his talent for film and photography. Jake just finished his second documentary journeying with a group of amputees attempting to summit some of the tallest volcanoes in the world. Jake is continually exploring how to combine technology, craft, and emotion in photography and film for Hufft.
