Kara Bouillette, Principal

Kara is Hufft’s Arts & Culture Principal. She is a unique asset to our firm and the Kansas City community with a passion and dedication that matches her strong skillset. Kara has committed her career to building a legacy of enrichment and inspiration in her professional and local communities. She has worked on some of our nation’s treasured arts buildings such as the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC and Princeton’s Lewis Center for the Performing Arts in collaboration with the award-winning Steven Holl Architects. Kara is a recipient of the 2017 AIA National Young Architect Award and she serves on the Board of Directors for both Kansas City Young Audiences and the AIA Kansas City Chapter.
