Matt is a Kansas City native who joins the Hufft design team as a project architect. After graduating from Kansas State University with a Master of Architecture, he has been working as an architect in the KC area for several years. Matt’s official title may be project architect, but he’s well-versed in many types of architectural tasks, creative to mundane. Whether sketching, model building (3D and physical) or rendering, he is constantly striving to discover new ways of representing space. On that note, Matt has recently been testing out new software with hopes to one day establish a workflow for documenting structures with drones, using high resolution photographs for point cloud construction. Outside of the office, he enjoys growing hops for his homebrew beer, working on his house, playing with his two dogs, building computers and taking things apart to understand their intricacies…and not always putting them back together.
