As an Associate Principal at Hufft, Scott is an accomplished architect who approaches every project with the bigger picture in mind. With a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Kansas and early career experience in Portland, Oregon, he brings broad expertise across residential, mixed-use, and museum work. No matter the program, Scott has a gift for distilling a project to its fundamental idea and rigorously executing the details to reinforce the concept.

Passionate about design excellence, Scott has contributed to numerous AIA award-winning buildings and understands what it takes to move a vision from concept through construction. His technical expertise, easy-going nature, and practical approach make him a trusted partner for clients and contractors alike. Outside the studio, you can often find him exploring Kansas City by bike with his family, discovering new restaurants, and admiring the city’s historic homes.
