We’re excited to share the Frank O’Mara Track & Field High Performance Center received the Next Generation Award in the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce’s Construction and Developers Awards program!

The Chamber’s Next Generation Award honors forward-looking, sustainably-designed, visionary projects that enhance the life of future generations.

Designed with AECOM, the facility is the new home for the University of Arkansas Track and Field program – the most successful in NCAA history. The building sits at the south end of John McDonnell Field, its shape originating from the track radius. Views through the building simultaneously connect users with the track infield and the distant Ozark mountains, reinforcing the University’s sense of place in the region. The north façade is a continuous ribbon of glass, placing building occupants directly adjacent to the competitive action and offering 180-degree views to the track infield from every interior space.
