Neil operates the CNC router and is a flex craftsman at Hufft. Originally from Wyoming, he received a degree in Architectural Design with an emphasis in Design Studies from CU Boulder. Prior to Hufft, Neil worked for the University, consulting with students and teachers on designs and utilizing the CNC router to help turn their 2D design into a physical object. He also facilitated both the metal and woodshops at the school.
Focused primarily on furniture design and the built object, Neil finds creating something physical from what began as only a sketched idea extremely satisfying. He is inspired by humans’ ability to continually improve themselves and their understanding of the world. When he’s not at work, he enjoys live music, outdoor recreation, playing guitar, and building sculptural furniture.
