ULAH is more than just a men’s clothing shop, it’s a lifestyle brand that supports local makers, embraces technology, and encourages a life of adventure. Hufft designed the flagship store within the active Woodside Village development. The 2,400 sf tenant fit-out features a lofted office space and custom-fabricated display system. Hufft’s fabrication scope includes several display tables and a cash wrap station that evokes the durability of John Wayne with the refinement of The Most Interesting Man in the World. The modular design of the display system allows ULAH to easily change the displays throughout the year and can be replicated to fit future stores as the company expands. This flexibility is utilized frequently as nearly everything in the store is for sale, artwork, rugs, chairs and side tables designed by founder, Buck Wimberly. Technology plays a unique role in the store. A white studio wall gives patrons the opportunity to engage social media with consistent backgrounds and lighting. Pictures can be posted as trend examples, requests for opinions, and uploads to a private ULAH style portal to build a wardrobe over time.
