The patterned wall paneling at Woodside’s Earth Bar is based on a hexagonal design that reflects the cellular structure of smooth muscle tissue, reflecting the health club’s foundational dedication to health and wellness. The paneling is made of rift-sawn ash plywood that was stained prior to cutting. The plywood laminations are cut and routed in a way that introduce dimension and allow the plywood to be featured as a layered decorative element.
