8th Street Market and Hufft featured in Urban Land Magazine

The Summer 2018 issue of Urban Land Institute’s magazine features 10 projects of emerging design firms across the globe. The work of these firms covers a wide scope of purpose and design, and to say we’re honored to be included with our 8th Street Market project would be an understatement.

The feature’s writer Ron Nyren states it best in his opening when he says, “Younger architecture firms contend with a built environment fashioned by previous generations of developers, designers, and planners, and influenced by economic constraints … The next generation of firms has the opportunity to remake the urban realm.”

Throughout our 13 short years in business, we’ve been humbled not only by the types of projects we’ve worked on, but the impact these projects have made for our clients. From spaces as intimate and personal as a single-family home, to community venues and historic preservations in the urban core, our work is continually inspired by the people and places that give meaning to what we do.
