The Mazuma Mezzanine, located within Children’s Mercy Park Kansas City Stadium, is both a structure that commands attention from all views within the complex, as well as a private suite space for groups to rent during games. After the partnership with Sporting KC came to fruition, Mazuma determined that they wanted their representation at the park to stand out. An arching canopy structure infilled with custom furniture was designed, comprised of 6’ tall hexagons, spanning 100’ long and 15’ tall. The project geometry was inspired by the iconic stitching patterns found in soccer balls. A collaborative team performed the entire install over a matter of 30 days.
