KC Studio feature shares Hufft story and work, “from modernist to historic preservation”

Writing for publication KC Studio, long-time Kansas City writer and editor Steve Paul recently helped us share more of the Hufft story – how we came to be, the ways we’ve grown and the work that’s driven our growth. His piece uncovers our steady and calculated evolution from a firm known for high-end, custom single-family homes, to a full-service design and fabrication shop creating meaningful spaces and objects for residential and commercial clients across the U.S. Some of the projects Steve specifically highlights are the historic preservation of the recently-opened 21c Museum Hotel in Kansas City; the adaptive reuse of the 8th Street Market in Bentonville, AR; and the new academic building for the Kansas City Art Institute that’s currently in design.

We’re thankful for Steve’s storytelling and humbled by the feature. Visit the KC Studio website for the full article.
